A worked week: 60 at the reception
Welcome dinner, 45 guests × $125 = $5,625. Rehearsal, 24 × $150 = $3,600. Reception, 60 × $165 mid-band = $9,900. Recovery brunch, 30 × $95 = $2,850. Food lines total $21,975; staffing across four events adds roughly $2,600–$3,400 at published hourlys; then 20% service and GET on their own lines. The written quote does this math with your counts.
Against the ballroom
Resort and venue packages commonly carry 23–25% service and per-event minimums. Our service charge is 20%, itemized — and the venues we work (estates, villas, private property) do not charge you a food-and-beverage minimum for the privilege.
