The COI and the freight elevator.
The signature logistics of Waikīkī: before anyone cooks, the building needs a certificate of insurance and the freight elevator needs a booking. Here is how that actually runs.
The paperwork sequence
After you approve the quote, we request the building’s requirements from your property manager or host. The COI naming the building issues from our insurer — allow a few business days. The freight-elevator window books against the load-in plan, typically ninety minutes before service.
- COI naming the building, issued before the date
- Freight-elevator and service-corridor windows booked
- Compact-galley menu architecture where the kitchen is small
What we need from you
The building name, your unit’s floor, and the property manager or host contact. If the building turns out to prohibit outside vendors entirely — a few do — we tell you immediately and refund the deposit in full.
