The standard is one sentence: the kitchen is left cleaner than we found it. Here is what that covers.
What “clean” includes
It does not include your breakfast dishes from that morning — but if they are in the sink when we arrive, they tend to get done anyway. That is the job as we understand it.
- All cooking equipment washed and put away
- Counters and stovetop wiped down
- Trash and recycling out
- Leftovers packed, labeled, and refrigerated
- The floor swept where the work happened
